A new article in BusinessWeek explains why Generation Y is more interested in entrepreneurship. Interesting observation:
The defining qualities of this year's fearless young entrepreneurs: They've all got clear revenue models, their ideas fill a gap they found in their own lives, and because of technology, they're operating on a skinnier shoestring than ever before.
I do wonder, though, about BusinessWeek's list of resources for young entrepreneurs. For example, I'm not sure it makes sense for young entrepreneurs to take themselves out of the game for two years in order to earn an MBA from Wichita State University (motto: Thinkers, Doers, Movers, and Shockers), which BusinessWeek calls one of the "nation's top entrepreneurship programs."
